Parents, teachers have very little control over what goes home to your email as a "google guardian". I recommend logging in now and then as your child and taking a look through the google classroom. It's what I do with my kids.

About me
I am in my 19th year of teaching, and I have taught every grade, most recently grades 5, 6 and 7 here at DDW. Previously I was teacher-librarian at River Oaks, grade 8 math at Boyne and K, 1, 5, 6 and math coach at Munn's.
Outside of school, I love to go on hikes and bike rides with my family. I also love to read - specifically fantasy and science fiction and non-fiction as well. During the pandemic, I became interested in 3d printing and stocks - a strange combo!
I recently completed my first novel, a realistic science-fiction novel. It was a lot of work, but very rewarding in the end. Who knows what I'll take up next?
